Our Mission:

Mayer's Karate and Fitness expanded its curriculum in 2005 to include highly specialized instruction for children with diverse special needs. Our goal is to work with your special needs child in an effort to assist him or her in reaching the highest level of physical, mental, emotional, and social development. Our caring, trained, and patient staff values all of our students and always gives 100%, for they appreciate the wonderful opportunity and great responsibility they have in positively impacting the life of your child.

Through specialized programs our instructors have vastly improved our students' coordination, physical fitness level, concentration, confidence, self esteem, motor development, social skills, balance, upper body strength, agility, discipline, attitude, and social gains – all of this is achieved through a fun, yet disciplined program which is always executed through a nurturing environment.

Currently, Mayer's Karate and Fitness is working with children who have been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, Autism (with varying degrees of severity), Severe Attention Deficit Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, various Learning Disabilities, and Objectionable Behaviors.

Placement:

In order to maximize your child's success in our program, Mayer's always offers an initial private, complimentary session with your child to determine which program would be the most beneficial in order for your child to thrive.

Group instruction is available on three levels according to ability: high, moderate and low. Group sessions are available on Saturday.

Private instruction is available for students who would benefit most from a custom program specifically designed to best suit his or her needs. Private instruction is available seven days a week, including Sundays.
